Help! My Kids are Overweight!
March 6, 2008
If you have recently found yourself fretting over your child’s waistline, you are not alone. The youth of today are fatter than ever before, and parents are starting to panic. Why are our kids so big, and what should we do about it?
Childhood obesity has been described as an epidemic. It puts our children’s health at risk, making them more susceptible to problems involving their cardiovascular systems, endocrine systems, and even their mental health. Type 2 diabetes mellitus, depression, and low self-esteem are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the problems looming over the heads of our overweight children.
It is ironic that both the problem and the solution to this heavy problem boil down to one simple equation. Energy In vs. Energy Out. When more energy is consumed than is utilized, the result is fat storage. In short, our kids eat too much and do too little.
Energy In
The Problem: Parents today are busier than ever before, navigating through hectic schedules with convenient fast food restaurants lurking on every corner. Our kids are eating more fried, processed, and sugary foods than we did as children due mainly to the convenience factor. These foods are laden with excessive calories that result in weight gain.

Your Thoughts Create Your Life
by: Ineke Van Lint
The greatest power we ever got is the power of our thoughts.
There is an Intelligence inside us that can elevate our life at the highest level.
Everyone should learn to collaborate with this Intelligence which is organized to react on our intentions and to create with us a life of abundance and happiness.
Freedom, happiness, richness, love, friendship, health and wealth are our birth right.
We have been created to live our life in freedom, health and wealth. If our life doesn’t look like that, it means we block ourselves by our thoughts. Our thoughts are very powerful instruments we use to either create happiness and wealth, or sickness and poverty.
If your life doesn’t look like what you’re dreaming of, it means you have thoughts which go against you. Your thoughts create your life. If you want to change your life, change first your thoughts.
You can choose your thoughts. Nobody in the world can put a thought in your head without your permission. Your mind belongs to you! It’s your job to control your thoughts! You are the master of your head, you are the gaurdian of your thoughts. You can change them. Choose those thoughts who will bring you the results you want.
How Taking an HGH Supplement Changed My Life
March 5, 2008
I finally bought the stuff. I couldn’t resist anymore. After hearing all of the great things HGH supplements could do, I wanted to see if it was really true. I’d like to tell you about my experience with HGH. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for you to decide if it might be something you’d want to try for yourself. What I’m talking about here is non-prescription HGH releaser pills, not the injections you need a doctor to give you. That’s only for people who have around $10,000 a year to blow.
Be careful though. I wasted a lot of money when I first got started by buying the wrong kinds of HGH supplements. I went through quite a few of them before I finally found one that worked.
I had two reasons for wanting to take an HGH supplement. I’d heard so much hype about it on the Internet and in the media that I wanted once and for all to see if this stuff really worked. Most importantly though, I was searching for something that would cure my continual tiredness. I was constantly tired. Maybe it was even what they call chronic fatigue syndrome. I’m not a doctor, so I can’t be sure.
Why We Choose Our Parents

There is a concept in Jewish mystical thought known as gilgul, which can be translated as reincarnation. Gilgul does not necessarily mean that a soul in its entirety has been reincarnated; it may only be a nitzotz, or spark of a soul, that is reincarnated. That is to say that an individual can possess a nitzotz from the soul of someone who has lived previously. Gilgul occurs when the preceding incarnation of that soul has more to accomplish.
Rabbi Menashe Ben Israel of the 17th century writes that the word, gilgul, in Hebrew letters equals the numerical value of 72, which is also chesed, the Hebrew word for kindness. When this type of numerical connection occurs,it implies a conceptual relationship. In this case, reincarnation is seen as the ultimate kindness, in that a soul is given another chance for the refinement of its past and the spiritual advancement of its future.
Ultimately, a soul can never fail. To succeed, the soul will come back as many times as necessary to fulfill its spiritual mission. This is the view of the Kabbalists, who call the process of the soul’s returning for the purpose of rectification tikkun, or repair. Sometimes it is discussed as the birur hisaron, or the clearing of a shortcoming.
Ghost of Binge Past

Holidays and special events should be a time of great joy, but dieters customarily imagine these occasions with dread and horror. Why? Because celebrations are not celebrations without lots of high-calorie, tempting foods. Does this suggest that you have to become a social-scrooge to duck temptation? No. The "secret" is to create a survival "plan" ahead of time and stick to it throughout this holiday season.
"If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail” is a time worn and clichéd statement. But it’s still wonderful success advice. Not only do most people fail to plan, they consciously plan to fail over the holidays.
Most people expect to “blow” their diet and miss workouts during the holidays. They expect to eat more, exercise less and gain weight. Instead of putting forth the effort by taking control, they resign themselves to maintenance at best or back-sliding at worst.
This negative expectancy leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy. By the first week of January, they’re in the worst shape they’ve been in for a year and they frantically make New Year’s resolutions to shed the excess fat they’ve gained. Is that your approach? Or, are you going to be strong and really make it all the way to the New Year without gaining weight?

Awaken Your Mind and Control Your Life

Are Dieters Wasting Their Money on the Latest Diet fad
Obesity according to recent research has reached epidemic proportions in the Western world, it seems that nearly every day a new sure fire diet plan is released, promising to make you a shadow of your former self. Unfortunately the reality soon disappears, not because the diet does not work, its due to the lack of will power.
90% of any thing we do starts in the mind , the other 10% is used in the actual physical action of what ever we are doing.
How many times have you heard about people starting and succeeding on a diet, losing the weight they so desperately wanted to shed, and then a few months later they have gradually edged back into their old eating habits and the pounds have rapidly gone back on. What is it that they need to do to maintain their ideal weight, without the depressing effect of yoyo dieting.

Simple ways to Motivate and Inspire Daily
by: Michaela Scherr
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing - that’s why we recommend it daily.” Zig Ziglar, Author & Speaker
There are times in my life, sometimes often, sometimes not depending on my which project I’m working on, where I need some extra help with inspiration and motivation to keep going.
Maybe you dream of being discovered and swept away from the life you’re living. Or thoughts are swirling around within your mind that somewhere else is the life you’d like to live?
Do you see others as living a more successful and exciting life than you?
If you want a new way of being, motivating and inspiring yourself daily is what I believe to be the first important step.
You can inspire and motivate yourself every day in manageable ways. Some examples that I use and find particularly useful are:
• Customize your computer screen saver and write something inspiring that you’d like to be reminded of, same with your mobile phone.
• Have a motivational desk calendar where you can easily see and read it.
