Why Angels, Why Now?
April 22, 2008
The Angelic realms have been very active throughout the human experience. They-as brilliant aspects of your Source-have been offered as protectors and teachers for every one of you. And yes, it can seem very difficult to know this when you see it, as we are talking about the Angelic Realms, the Dimensions of Light, both of which are not always visible to the human eye.
And yet-have you noticed the Angels around you? They seem to be everywhere! In pictures, in the architecture, on websites, on TV. They might walk beside you, too. How do you recognize them? How good will you feel when you begin to recognize the angelic qualities of others? Of yourself?
Sometimes all you need is for a Light to be turned on. Have you ever been in a room that’s darker than dark? Hard to find your way, isn’t it? In fact, it’s hard to even move when you can’t see. It makes you slow down and sometimes even paralyzes you. And then-a light comes on! It can be a spotlight, a flashbulb, or the tiniest of flames. And it transforms the darkness. And transforms YOU in the process. Because Now you can SEE.
EFT for Weight Loss - How to Stop Eating from Fear of Not Getting Your Share
April 21, 2008
Do You Sometimes Eat Because You’re Afraid You’ll “Miss Out” on Something Wonderful Otherwise?
Have you ever finished a huge meal, Thanksgiving dinner for instance, and being so stuffed you couldn’t possibly eat another bite, when suddenly someone showed up with another dessert? Did you suddenly find just a bit of space to eat a little more? That’s eating out of fear; the fear of missing out, the fear of not being part of the group (everyone else is having some and you want your share too) and it has nothing to do with hunger.
This same thing can happen with any feeling — you may feel exhausted. You had a rough day at work, a traffic jam on the way home, a flat tire, and now you have a headache. You are bone tired and want to do nothing but sleep, when suddenly the phone rings. It’s a call saying, “You’ve just won a million dollars! Can you come right down to pick it up?,” and you’re rushing out the door with your coat half fastened, you’re so excited you can hardly wait.
An Open Secret for Success in Home Business

An Open Secret for Success in Home Business
by: Greg Carson
Entrepreneurs for centuries have demonstrated for the rest of us how to become champions in their own specializations. The fundamental principle of setting a personal strategy through goals is no longer an exclusive secret for the elite.
Goals inspire motivation and focus in their subjects. For this reason, setting a goal is perhaps the most significant step in achieving success no matter what the field of endeavor. The simple act of setting a goal generates the organizing power needed to dissolve obstacles between you and your end; furthermore, when emotionalized, they initiate a magnetic desire that attracts the knowledge, skills, people, and financing necessary to bring your dream into physical reality.
By having well-defined goals, both short term and long term, you can also measure every inch of progress. Each small accomplishment will provide personal satisfaction that will accumulate into a gratifying life experience. Graphing your progress is another practical method enabling your success. A well-devised graph can help you to see which stage of completion you are in. The timely awareness that you are on track can cause satisfaction while the awareness of being behind schedule will increase you motivation leading to the actual realization of your goals.

Using Conscious Creation To Improve Your Life
by: Wendy Betterini
You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Idle hands are the devil’s tools” — meaning if you don’t have something to keep you busy, you’re likely to get into trouble. That can be argued of course, since the intent to cause trouble probably has to be present also.
However, the concept itself does hold some truth regarding what we create in our lives. If it’s true that we get back what we put out (into the universe), then it’s easy to see why “idle hands” would be a bad thing for us. Life on this planet is an exercise in creating our own reality. Moment to moment, we are making decisions. Whether we act or don’t act, we are putting forth our intent.
Every action has a consequence, either good or bad. Remember the concept, “like attracts like.” Imagine that every bit of energy you put out is traveling the universe, gathering similar energy, and eventually being returned right back to you. It makes you think more carefully about what type of energy you are putting out every day, doesn’t it? If we do nothing, we get nothing back (or at least nothing very good). Our lives become boring, empty shells. The very act of not moving, not doing, not creating causes stagnation.
B Vitamin Hype: With Ambitions of Fighting Acne, Rosacea and Tumors, What Can This Vitamin Really Do
April 19, 2008
Vitamin B is no small time player in the high stakes game of the beauty. Just take the case of pellagra for example. Pellagra is a life threatening skin disease characterized by dementia, diarrhea, and dermatitis that results from a niacin (B vitamin) deficiency. In the early 20th century in the United States pellagra plagued thousands of people in the South and Midwest. The condition was thought to be contagious until investigators discovered the underlying nutritional deficiency.
Even today, the importance of vitamin B is cultivating new roles in the world of beauty. Dermatologist Leslie Baumann, MD forecasts topical vitamin B and its multiple derivatives as key ingredients in future anti-aging products. For example, one derivative of the B vitamin niacin, nicotinamide, has been shown to improve the ability of the epidermis, the upper-most layer of the skin, to retain moisture. One study reports that topical nicotinamide, when applied to the skin for six days reveals softer, smoother skin with less dryness and flakiness, and a reduction of fine lines. Even more promising is its anti-cancer influences. For instance, when applied to mouse skin, topical nicotinamide produced a 70 percent decrease in ultraviolet-induced skin cancer.
Are Low Carb Diets Good for Everyone?
April 18, 2008
What’s a Low Carb Diet Really Mean?
When I hear low carb to me it means, “low sugar,” or “less processed foods.” If we’d all make an effort to avoid chips, cookies, cakes, high corn syrup drinks, and candy, then we’d be reducing our overall carbs and eating more healthfully at the same time. There is also no need to avoid foods that are grown and served as close to their natural state as possible such as fresh fruits and vegetables, nor must you avoid brown rice or even pasta.
It’s not pasta that makes us fat, it’s the creamy sauces and the loaves of bread, desserts, and drinks we have along with our spaghetti. It’s the combination and quantity of food, not just one food or category of nutrients. When I hear someone say they eat bacon non-stop but they refuse to eat a baked potato or fresh peeled orange it makes me want to scream. I’m not a nutrition expert (even the experts can’t agree at this point), but it does not take a genius to know that bacon is not a better choice over an apple. It just makes sense to eat the foods that grow in our soil first and to avoid the processed versions (think apples versus Apple Jack’s cereal).
The Strength Of Beliefs And Their Impact On Success

The Strength Of Beliefs And Their Impact On Success
by: Matthew Hayford
Have you ever heard the expression, “if you don’t believe you can do it you can’t”? This holds true for business especially since many when beginning a new venture have some inherent doubts that can ultimately be the undoing of the business before it even has the chance to begin.
Our beliefs have a significant impact on how well or how poorly we do in any endeavor. This is even more powerful in the world of business because many of us have had various beliefs instilled upon us since childhood by our friends, family, co-workers and the like.
The worst form are those we generate for ourselves. Self limiting beliefs can destroy a business before it has had a chance to get off the ground simply because we possess the doubt that it will ever succeed.
To better one’s chance of success one most first find within oneself those beliefs that could have detriment towards the business’ ability to succeed. Just as easily as one may ruin a chance for success based on negative beliefs, one may enhance it’s chances by replacing those limiting beliefs with positive views of the business.
The F-Word

Excerpt From The Relationship Handbook: How to Understand and Improve Every Relationship in Your Life by Kevin B. Burk

I’d like to invite you to consider a powerful concept. This concept is essential–we must learn how to master it if we want to experience the levels of joy, happiness, love and prosperity that are our birthright. Many of us, however, resist this concept. We use it sparingly, if at all, and occasionally, we won’t even consider it as an option. In fact, for many of us, this concept is so emotionally charged that I hesitate to even name it, because if I call it anything other than the “f-word” it could put our egos on high alert.
You see, in many cases, avoiding this concept is the ego’s front line defense–an effort to protect us from experiencing pain. The ego believes that if we embraced the “f-word” we would be defenseless at best, and at worst, we would be destroyed completely. Of course, it doesn’t help that most of us have a somewhat ego- and fear-based understanding of the “f-word” that makes it less than appealing. The truth is that embracing the “f-word” is the secret to experiencing genuine freedom in our lives.
2 Ways to Start Burning fat Quickly
April 15, 2008
1. Start Exercising first thing in the morning.
As soon as you wake up in the morning workout for at least 30min to an hour. Studies show that working out in the morning has been shown to burn up to 3x as more fat as opposed to working out at any other time during the day. Here’s Why:
During the day your body’s main source of energy is the carbohydrates that you get from eating your meals. As you sleep at night for 6+ hours your body uses up all those carbohydrates as energy for various bodily functions that go on even while you sleep. When you wake up in the morning your body doesn’t have any carbohydrates as energy to use and it will look to burn body fat instead for energy.
For you to take advantage of this morning fat burning opportunity you have to exercise first thing in the morning. Don’t eat breakfast because if you do you’ll just give your body some carbohydrates as a source of energy instead of the body fat that you want to burn for energy.

Keep a Sharp Mind with Games
by: Steve Hall
Have you ever forgotten where you put your car keys? Have you spent time searching for your sunglasses when they were perched on top of your head? Don’t laugh. Even I have done that! Today’s culture refers to these scenarios as “senior moments”. While these senior moments can be quite entertaining they can also point to the possibility that your mind is not as focused as it could be.
Your mind can become “dull” if you have been out of school for awhile or engage in the same repetitive tasks each day. In other words, your brain is on cruise control when you should always strive to learn and stretch your mind. I have a grandmother that is 92 years old and is sharp as a tack. She keeps her mind sharp by continually learning new ideas, facts, and solving puzzles.
Many ask what activities they can do to keep their mind sharp. Online games and puzzles are perfect activities to sweep the cobwebs out of your brain. You need to keep your brain cells humming. You can work on creativity with visual art puzzles. You can work on logical thought process through number and letter puzzles. Classic crossword puzzles and a competitive game of scrabble are great places to start.
