Organizing Goals
by: Paul Hegarty
So you set your goals and now you need to implement them. To do this we need to organize a way of cross checking those goals to make sure you are on track.
Firstly have an outline. In other words allow room for maneuver. I like to set goals just as a plane prepares for take off. You know when you are sitting in your seat and you hear the pilot say prepare for take off, then he tells the Air Stewarts to cross check.
The pilot inputs the destination co-ordinates into the computer. Once this plane is in the air, it is constantly been pushed of course but the computers are continually correcting the planes course so as to get to the final destination.
Have an outline. Allow for deviations. Do not be too ridged. Keep your destination in mind. Do this by writing it down, allow for events pushing you of course, then correct it based on the information you have been given.
So what I do, is set daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, quarterly goals, yearly goals then three and five year goals. Each set of goals cross check the others.
7 Strategies To Stop Eating Junk Food!
November 30, 2008
FACT: Obesity accounts for 300,000 deaths a year in the U.S. alone.
Research into how junk food and fast food restaurants affect obesity, have found that there may be a relationship between the number of people per fast food restaurant and how many square miles there are between fast food restaurants located within your local area and obesity rates.
The way in which we eat, and what we eat, is of vital importance to our state of health. The convenience and habitual nature of the problem mean that fast food consumption is so in-grained, that healthy eating is near impossible.
There are no easy ways to fix junk food habits and make them into healthy habits, but I do have 7 quick strategies that you can easily put into place to start into motion your new lifestyle without junk food. I recommend implementing these one at a time, to ensure that you don’t overload and burn yourself out.
1. Do your shopping every week. Make it a regular habit to do your groceries every single week on the same day.
Freeing the Female Orgasm
November 29, 2008
Women’s capacity for orgasm is awesome. They can come over and over again, and still be ready for more! This capacity seems almost limitless. They can experience clitoral orgasms, g-spot orgasms, vaginal orgasms, ejaculatory orgasms, blended orgasms, and not only one but multiples of any of these! They’ve even been blessed with a body part, the clitoris, whose only purpose is sexual pleasure. This may all seem a bit unfair to men who typically reach a precipice, fall over the edge, roll over and go to sleep!
Why is it then that so many women are frustrated rather than satisfied? Why is it that for so many loving couples, the female orgasm remains an elusive dream; one in which she’s perhaps become resigned to sex that’s pleasurable but not truly satisfying, or even worse, faking it to salvage her partner’s ego. If it is really bad perhaps she fakes orgasm just to get the sexual ordeal over with! Or he sadly wonders: What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I make her come despite stiff fingers and aching tongue? His sexual self-esteem is wounded, and he secretly feels less of a man believing he has failed her.

Action Vs. Apathy: Just Get Moving!
by: Wendy Betterini
How many times have you felt truly defeated by the circumstances in your life? You know, the “I don’t know why I bother to keep trying, I’m going back to bed and staying there” feeling. It happens to everyone - housewives, corporate executives, rock stars, actors, world leaders. Each and every one of us has had a day when we felt that we just weren’t able to cope with our daily lives.
However, some of us have days like this more frequently than others. Some of us even feel that our entire lives are like this. When we begin to feel this way more often than not, there is a problem. What it comes down to is that we feel powerless. That’s where that feeling of defeat and despair comes from. Our subconscious mind is saying, “I just don’t have the power to change things, so I might as well give up”. Powerlessness is not a good feeling, is it?
Life Dont Work That Way
November 27, 2008
It would be nice if the planet - like so many other things in modern day life - came with a guarantee. “If, for any reason, this planet fails to yield the resources required for, or the environment conducive to, the continuation of the species commonly referred to as homo sapiens, God agrees to replace this planet at no cost to the inhabitants at any time within one eternity at no cost to the inhabitants themselves.”
Life don’t work that way. Our planet didn’t come with any guarantee, and - more important in these times - it didn’t come with an insurance policy. For too many of us, the fate of the earth isn’t something we want to think about; doing so only makes us nervous. Who can understand all the changes taking place, and who can acknowledge those changes without being overcome by a sense of fear for what tomorrow will bring?
5 Tips To Losing Weight With Convenience Food
November 26, 2008
While it would be ideal to make all of our own snacks and meals from scratch everyday, the plain and simple truth is that most of us simply don’t have that kind of time. This is where we turn to convenience foods to meet our dietary and weight loss needs.
However, the right convenience foods in the right amounts can easily be integrated into almost any diet.
TIP 1 - Shop Smart
Never shop on an empty stomach. This will only make it harder for you to make choices that are in your best interests. Always be prepared with a thorough shopping list and do not divert from it. If an aisle is full of tempting goodies but has nothing on your list, simply walk right by it, instead of down it.
TIP 2 - Read Labels
All convenience foods are not the same. Depending on your chosen diet, some will fit much better into your routine than others. This is why it’s important to become an informed consumer and never place anything in your grocery basket unless you’ve read the label and determined it’s in your best interests to buy it.

Motivate Yourself With Positive Self-Talk
by: Alan Fairweather
Let me tell you a quick story. When I was working in the
Beer industry I was intrigued by our top ten successful Bar
and Hotel owning customers. The majority of them, to put it
tactfully, didn’t seem to be particularly sophisticated
business people. In other words, they didn’t seem to have
had any kind of business training or acquired any
qualifications.
I was discussing with my boss one day how these people had
become so successful and he said - “They don’t know they
can’t do it. You and I Alan see the pitfalls, we know about
business and we see all the ways we could fail. These people
only see how they’ll succeed.
As you’ll gather, this was a pretty powerful message for me
- these successful business owners were talking to
themselves in a much more positive way than less successful
people.
Your level of success in terms of your happiness, emotional
wellbeing and anything else you desire is a direct result of
how you talk to yourself. The most important relationship
Know Your Muscles - The Lower Body
November 23, 2008
Becoming familiar with the muscles that make up your body has more benefits than simply allowing you to talk shop with your training partners. The more familiar you are with the muscles you’re working, the better you’ll be able to judge what’s needed to make improvements. In this article we’ll get to know the muscles that make up the lower body.
This is where you’ll find the big, strong muscles that allow us to get around. The main muscles found below the waist are as follows:
1. Quadriceps femoris - this is a group of four muscles found at the front of the thigh. These are the vastus lateralis on the outside, the vastus medialis on the inside, the vastus intermedius between them, and the rectus femoris above them. The role of these muscles is to extend the leg from a bent position.
2. Hamstrings - these are found to the rear of the leg and consist of the biceps femoris, semitendinosus and semimembranosus. The hamstrings are used to flex the knee in the act of pulling the heel towards the buttocks.
